This Privacy Policy explains how Rural Digital collects, uses, stores, and shares information through ruraldigital.co and its inquiry forms. It applies to website visitors and prospective clients. A signed client agreement may include additional terms for active client work.
Information you provide
When you submit a Website Check or other inquiry, Rural Digital may collect your name, email address, phone number, business or organization, website address, location, selected service, and the details you choose to include. Published site content and form configuration are served from Sanity, but this site workflow does not intentionally save lead submissions as Sanity form-submission documents. Lead submissions are delivered to Aaron through transactional email and may be retained by the email provider and recipient mailbox as part of normal business records.
Do not submit protected health information (PHI), patient details, sensitive employee information, passwords, payment-card data, or other secrets through public forms or ordinary email. The public inquiry form is not designed for that information.
Operational and technical information
The website and its hosting, security, and anti-abuse providers may generate operational logs such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, referrer information, and error or security events. This information is used to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
Rural Digital’s site settings currently have optional audience analytics disabled. If material analytics or advertising tools are added later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
How information is used
- Respond to inquiries and determine whether a service may be a fit.
- Prepare a requested website review, proposal, or service agreement.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and forms.
- Maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
- Communicate about an active request or client relationship.
Service providers and limited sharing
Rural Digital may use service providers for website hosting and delivery (including Vercel), published site content and configuration (Sanity), transactional email delivery, and anti-abuse or reCAPTCHA services when enabled. Lead submissions are not intentionally saved as Sanity form-submission documents by this site workflow. The transactional email provider and recipient mailbox may process and retain submitted information under their applicable terms and normal business-record practices.
Rural Digital does not sell personal information. Information may be shared when reasonably necessary with service providers, when you direct or authorize the sharing, to protect rights or security, or when required by law.
Retention
Inquiry and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the record and whether a client relationship begins.
Security
Rural Digital uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small website operation, but no website, email, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the contact information below if you believe information was submitted in error or a security issue may exist.
Your choices
You may ask Rural Digital to correct or delete inquiry information, subject to records Rural Digital reasonably needs to keep for legal, security, billing, or dispute purposes. You may also choose not to submit a form and contact Aaron directly by email, but ordinary email should not contain sensitive information.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Rural Digital does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the site.

The website may link to third-party sites or services. Rural Digital does not control their content, security, or privacy practices.

This policy may be updated when the website, providers, or practices change. The revised date will be posted at the top of this page.
